Installation Procedure

  1. Install the left transaxle mount to the frame.
    2. Fig 1: Left Mount Fastener Identification

    CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the left mount fasteners using the following sequence:
    1. Finger tighten the four bolts.
    2. Tighten bolt 1 to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
    3. Tighten bolt 2 to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
    4. Tighten bolt 3 to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
    5. Tighten bolt 4 to 27 N.m (20 lb ft).
  3. Install the powertrain in the vehicle. Refer to Transmission Replacement .
