Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive motor generator control module assembly. Refer to Drive Motor Generator Control Module Assembly Replacement
    2. Fig 1: Range Select Cable And Retaining Clip

  2. Disconnect the range select cable (2) from the range select lever.
  3. Release the range select cable retaining clip (1) and remove the cable from the range select cable bracket.
  4. Remove the front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement .

  5. Remove the range select cable (2) from the automatic transmission range select lever pin.
  6. Remove the range select cable (1) from the automatic transmission range select lever housing.

  7. Remove the range select cable grommet (1) from the cowl.
  8. Remove the range select cable from the vehicle.
