1	A/Trans Torque Dampener Assembly CAUTION: Lower the torque dampener assembly straight down. Failure to lower the torque dampener assembly straight down could damage the torque dampener clutch lip seal inside the torque dampener assembly. Special Tools: J 46409: Torque Converter Lifting Handles For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .
2	J 21366 Converter Holding Strap WARNING: The torque dampener must be held to the torque dampener housing by a retaining device such as shipping brackets. Without the retaining device, the torque dampener may slide forward, disengaging the oil pump, or may fall completely out of the transmission causing personal injury and/or property damage. Special Tools: J 21366: Converter Holding Strap For equivalent regional tools, refer to Special Tools .

J 21366 Converter Holding Strap

WARNING: The torque dampener must be held to the torque dampener housing by a retaining device such as shipping brackets.
