- Inspect for damaged VL2-3-4 clutch backing plate. Inspect for worn splines on backing plate.
- Inspect for damaged VL2-3-4 clutch backing plate retaining ring.
- Inspect for damaged VL2-3-4 clutch piston assembly, spring, retaining ring, and center support assembly.
