- Inspect for damaged or worn low and VL1-2R clutch plates.
- Inspect for damaged VL1-2R clutch backing plate. Inspect for worn splines on backing plate.
- Inspect for damaged VL1-2R clutch backing plate retaining ring.
- Inspect for damaged VL1-2R clutch piston assembly, spring, spring retaining ring, and center support assembly.
