Preliminary Procedures

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the control solenoid (w/body and TCM) valve assembly from the transmission. Refer to Control Valve Lower Body and Upper Body Replacement .
  3. Perform the Control Solenoid Valve and Transmission Control Module Assembly Inspection  procedure.
