Isolation Fault Protection

The accessory AC/DC power control module contains a ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI). GFCI monitors the 110 volt AC circuit for the following conditions:

The hot circuit or the neutral circuit becomes shorted to the vehicle chassis ground
The current flow through the hot circuit and the neutral circuit differs from each other by greater than 6 mA

If either of the above conditions is detected, the accessory AC/DC power control module will turn OFF. The module remains OFF, until the AC powered device is unplugged from the outlet, and then plugged into the outlet after a 3 second delay.
