Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner assembly. Refer to Air Cleaner Assembly Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (3) from the bank 1 intake camshaft position (CMP) sensor (4).

  4. Remove the CMP sensor bolt.
  5. Remove the CMP sensor.
