Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Remove the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor.

  6. Remove the exhaust CMP sensor bolt. (Intake CMP shown, exhaust CMP similar).
  7. Remove the exhaust CMP sensor.
