Removal Procedure

  1. Place the park brake lever in the released position.
  2. Disable the supplemental inflatable restraint (SIR) system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
  3. Remove the front floor console. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

  4. Disconnect the park brake warning lamp switch electrical connector (1).

  5. Remove the park brake warning lamp switch (1) by compressing the locking tabs.
