Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
    3. Fig 1: Identifying Lower Shock Bolt & Nut

  3. Remove the lower shock bolt.
    4. Fig 2: Identifying Upper Shock Bolt

  4. Remove the upper shock bolt.
  5. Remove the shock from the vehicle.
