1	Power Brake Booster Accumulator Procedure Clamp the accumulator in a vise. Cover the accumulator with a cloth. Using a hand saw, cut the accumulator body between a and b according to specification to discharge the gas and fluid inside. Discard both accumulator halves in the proper waste container. Specification: Distance between a and b: 100 mm (4 in) Distance from top of accumulator hex and b: 20 mm (0.79 in)

Power Brake Booster Accumulator

Procedure

Clamp the accumulator in a vise.
Cover the accumulator with a cloth.
Using a hand saw, cut the accumulator body between a and b according to specification to discharge the gas and fluid inside.
Discard both accumulator halves in the proper waste container.

Specification:

Distance between a and b: 100 mm (4 in)
Distance from top of accumulator hex and b: 20 mm (0.79 in)
