Temperature Door: Installation

  1. Install the air temperature door to the HVAC module. See Figure. Install the air temperature door linkage and actuator.
  2. Install the evaporator front cover to the evaporator case. Install the A/C accumulator (if equipped). See ACCUMULATOR in REMOVAL & INSTALLATION MANUAL A/C-HEATER SYSTEMS article. Connect the negative battery cable.
  3. Install the coolant recovery reservoir or the surge tank. Evacuate and recharge the A/C system (on vehicles with A/C). See RECOVERY, EVACUATING & RECHARGING in GENERAL SERVICING PROCEDURES article in GENERAL SERVICING.
