Removal Procedure

Raise and suitably support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
Remove the catalytic converter to muffler nuts (1).

With the aid of an assistant, remove the muffler insulators (1) from the hangers.
Remove the muffler assembly.
