Installation Procedure

  1. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield (1).
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the exhaust manifold heat shield studs (2) and tighten to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).
    3. Fig 2: Air Cleaner Bracket Nuts

  3. On the LAT engine, install the air cleaner bracket.
  4. Install the air cleaner bracket nuts (1) and tighten to 20 N.m (15 lb ft.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
