Installation Procedure

- Install the drive belt to the crankshaft pulley, the tensioner and the idler pulley.
- Rotate the drive belt tensioner clockwise.
- Install the drive belt to the generator (1).
- Slowly release the drive belt tensioner.
- Raise the vehicle.
- Partially thread the lower right side engine mount bracket bolt in place.
- Install the right side engine mount bracket. Refer to Engine Mount Bracket Replacement - Right Side .
- Install the engine splash shield.
IMPORTANT:
Ensure the drive belt is properly aligned and seated into the grooves of the accessory drive pulleys.
