Installation Procedure

  1. Install the drive belt idler pulley.
    2. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  2. Install the drive belt idler pulley bolt and tighten to 58 N.m (43 lb ft).
  3. Position generator in place then install the generator bolts.

  4. Install the battery cable.
  5. Install the battery cable boot.

  6. Connect the generator electrical connector.
  7. Install the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (LY7) 
  8. Connect the negative battery cable. Refer to Battery Negative Cable Disconnection and Connection .
