Installation Procedure

  1. Lubricate the oil level indicator tube O-ring seal with clean engine oil.
  2. Install the oil level indicator tube into the engine block.
    3. CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution .
  3. Install the oil level indicator tube bracket bolt and tighten to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).
  4. Install the oil level indicator.
