Installation Procedure

  1. Position the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the vehicle.
  2. Fig 1: Identifying Power Steering Reservoir Outlet Hose & Clamp (Power Steering Pump)

  3. Compress the power steering reservoir outlet hose clamp (1) and connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose (2) to the power steering pump.

  5. Compress the power steering reservoir outlet hose clamp (1) and connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose (2) to the remote power steering fluid reservoir.
  6. Clean any excess fluid from the vehicle and remove the drain pans.
  7. Install the right front wheelhouse liner. Refer to Front Wheelhouse Liner Replacement .
  8. Fill and bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding .
  9. Install the intake manifold cover. Refer to Intake Manifold Cover Replacement .
