Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the drive belt. Refer to Drive Belt Replacement (LE5) .
  2. Use J 38122-A  to prevent the crankshaft from rotating while loosening the crankshaft balancer bolt. See Special Tools .
  3. Remove and discard the crankshaft balancer bolt.

  4. Remove the crankshaft balancer.
