Accumulator & 2-1 Manual Servo: Installation

  1. If disassembled, assemble the 2-1 band servo. See appropriate OVERHAUL article. Install the manual 2-1 band servo. See Figure . Install the lube oil pipe to the front differential carrier internal gear lube hole. See Figure . Position the manual 2-1 band servo cover and accumulator into place.
  2. Install the manual 2-1 band servo cover bolts. Tighten the manual 2-1 band servo cover bolts to specification. Install the accumulator attaching bolts. Tighten the accumulator attaching bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  .
  3. If removed, install the new filter seal. Install the filter. Install the oil pan. See DRAINING & REFILLING  under LUBRICATION. Lower the vehicle. Fill transaxle with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION  .
