Preliminary Procedure: Remove the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to Steering Wheel Inflatable Restraint Module Replacement .
1	Steering Wheel Nut CAUTION: Refer to Fastener Caution . Tighten: 41 N.m (30 lb ft)
2	Steering Wheel Procedure Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed. Remove the steering wheel using the J 1859-A: puller and the J 36541-A: puller legs. Special Tools J 1859-A: Steering Wheel Puller J 36541-A: Steering Wheel Puller Legs

Tighten: 41 N.m (30 lb ft)

Procedure

Disconnect any electrical connectors as needed.
Remove the steering wheel using the J 1859-A: puller and the J 36541-A: puller legs.
