Transmission Fluid Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: 
Raise the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
1 Fluid Drain Plug
Tip:  Place a drain pan capable of containing more than 5 quarts of fluid under the transmission before removing the plug to drain the fluid.

Tighten:  12 N.m (106 lb in)

2 Fluid Level Indicator
Tip: 
  • Transmission will require approximately 5 quarts of fluid.
  • Fill the transmission with fluid. Refer to Transmission Fluid Check .
