Windshield Pillar Garnish Molding Replacement

Preliminary Procedure: Disable the SIR system. Refer to SIR Disabling and Enabling .
1	Windshield Garnish Molding Assembly Procedure Tether clip at upper portion of garnish molding MUST be replaced everytime windshield pillar molding is removed. Starting at the top, gently pull on the garnish molding to disengage the clip. Tabs must be installed prior to retainer clip. Tabs to be fully seated in instrument panel trim panel retainer and valance panel.

Procedure

Tether clip at upper portion of garnish molding MUST be replaced everytime windshield pillar molding is removed.
Starting at the top, gently pull on the garnish molding to disengage the clip.
Tabs must be installed prior to retainer clip.
Tabs to be fully seated in instrument panel trim panel retainer and valance panel.
