Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 9 other vehicles, including the 2002 GMC Yukon XL, 2002 GMC Yukon, 2002 GMC Sierra, 2002 Chevrolet Tahoe, and 2002 Chevrolet Suburban. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the bracket to the vehicle.
  2. Install the bolt to the frame and to the bracket.
    NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE .
  3. Install the washers and the nuts to the bracket.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 90 N.m (70 lb ft).

  4. Install the differential carrier assembly. Refer to DIFFERENTIAL CARRIER ASSEMBLY REPLACEMENT .
  5. Lower the vehicle.
