Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the engine coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the heater core.
  4. Remove the heater outlet hose from the heater core.

  6. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the "T" fitting.
  7. Remove the heater outlet hose (1) from the "T" fitting.

  9. Remove the heater outlet hose clamp from the surge tank.
  10. Remove the heater outlet hose from the surge tank.
