Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the coolant. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
  2. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct from the vehicle. Refer to Air Cleaner Resonator Outlet Duct Replacement .
  3. Remove the heater inlet hose clamp from the heater core.
  4. Remove the heater inlet hose from the heater core.

  6. Remove the heater inlet hose clamp from the elbow fitting.
  7. Remove the heater inlet hose (2) from the elbow fitting.
