Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
  2. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connectors (2, 3) from the intake and exhaust camshaft position actuator solenoid valves.
  3. Remove the ignition coils. Refer to Ignition Coil Replacement .
  4. Remove the engine harness clips (4) from the cover.
  5. Reposition the engine wiring harness out of the way.

  7. Remove the fuel feed line retainers (1, 2) from the engine brackets.

  9. Remove the camshaft cover bolts.
  10. Remove the camshaft cover.
