Removal Procedure

  1. Drain the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill)  or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
  2. Disconnect the coolant heater power supply cord from the coolant heater.

    IMPORTANT: A residual amount of coolant will drain from the engine block.
  4. Remove the coolant heater and washer from the engine block.
