Installation Procedure

Install the washer to the coolant heater.

NOTE: Refer to Component Fastener Tightening Notice .

Install the coolant heater into the engine block.
Tighten: Tighten the coolant heater to 60 N.m (44 lb ft).
Connect the coolant heater power supply cord to the coolant heater.
Fill the cooling system. Refer to Draining and Filling Cooling System (Static Fill) or Draining and Filling Cooling System (GE 47716 Fill) .
