Removal Procedure

  1. Disconnect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) from the exhaust camshaft position (CMP) sensor.
  2. Fig 2: Identifying CMP Sensor

  3. Remove the CMP sensor bolt. (Intake CMP shown, exhaust CMP similar).
  4. Remove the CMP sensor.
