Installation Procedure

  1. Install the air cleaner assembly and secure the air cleaner by inserting the mounting pins into the holes in the front panel.
  2. Install the air cleaner bolt.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

  3. Connect the engine wiring harness electrical connector (1) to the MAF/IAT sensor.
  4. Install the engine wiring harness retainer (2) to the air cleaner assembly.
  5. Install the air cleaner outlet duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement .
