Installation Procedure

  1. Apply a small amount of the anti-seize compound SA P/N 21485279, or equivalent, to the threads of the heated oxygen sensor.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  3. Install the bank 2 heated oxygen sensor 1 using the J 39194-C  .

    Tighten:  Tighten the oxygen sensors (exhaust manifold) to 44 N.m (33 lb ft).

  5. Connect the heated oxygen sensor harness connector (1). Make sure the locking tab is in the full closed position.
  6. Start the engine and make sure no exhaust leaks exist.
