Installation Procedure

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  1. Install the camshaft position (CMP) sensor (700) and bolt (723).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 4 N.m (35 lb in).

  2. Install the cover (244), NEW seal (243) and bolts (242).

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 22 N.m (16 lb ft).

  3. Install the left camshaft sprocket. Refer to Camshaft Drive Sprocket Replacement - Left Side .
