Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the front lower air deflector.

  4. Disconnect the O2 sensors (1, 2).
  5. Remove the exhaust manifold pipe. Refer to Exhaust Manifold Pipe Replacement (3.5L (L66)) .
  6. Remove the converter nuts.
  7. Position the radiator assembly forward enough for the converter removal clearance.

  9. Remove the catalytic converter.
