Removal Procedure

Remove the catalytic converter. Refer to one of the following:
- Catalytic Converter Replacement (2.2L (L61) and 2.4L (LAT))
- Catalytic Converter Replacement - Left Side (3.5L (L66)) and Catalytic Converter Replacement - Right Side (3.5L (L66))

IMPORTANT: The exhaust and catalytic converter heat shields overlap and utilize common rivet attachment points.

Drill out the catalytic converter heat shield rivets.
Remove the catalytic converter heat shield.
