Removal Procedure

Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .

Fig 1: Removing/Installing Lower Shock Absorber Mounting Bolt & Nut

Remove the lower shock bolt.
Remove the wheelhouse liner. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Liner Panel Replacement .

Remove the upper shock bolt.
Remove the shock from the vehicle.
