Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the rear transmission mount. Refer to Transmission Rear Mount Replacement .

  3. Disconnect the intermediate steering shaft from the steering gear.

  5. Remove the steering gear to frame bolts.
  6. Secure the steering gear upward in order to gain additional clearance.
  7. Remove the HO2S sensor. Refer to Heated Oxygen Sensor Replacement - Bank 1 Sensor 2 .

  9. Remove the transmission mount bracket to transmission bolts.
  10. Remove the transmission mount bracket from the vehicle.
