Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
  2. Remove the wheel and tire. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation .
  3. Remove the wheel drive shaft. Refer to Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (Non Hybrid) or Front Wheel Drive Shaft Replacement (Hybrid) .
  4. Using the SA9133T  , remove the axle seal by threading the SA9133T  through the steel seal body as close to the outside diameter as possible.
