Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door outer panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
    2. Fig 1: View Of Front Door Sound Insulator

  2. Partially remove the front door sound insulator.
    3. Fig 2: Removing/Installing Handle Pivot

  3. Disconnect the outside handle rod from he door latch clamshell-style clip.
  4. Compress the pin on the handle pivot and remove the pivot and outside handle rod assembly.
  5. Disconnect the outside handle rod from the pivot and remove.
