Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure the window is in the full-up position.
  2. Remove the outer front door panel. Refer to Front Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
  3. Pull back the front door sound insulator at the rear. Refer to Front Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  4. Remove the C-clip from the lock cylinder, and push the lock cylinder into the door.
  5. Disconnect the lock rod from the latch mechanism.
  6. Remove the lock cylinder from the outer door panel.
