Installation Procedure

  1. With an assistant position the rear door and loosely install all hinge to body bolts.
    2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  2. Align the hinge with the marks made during the removal procedure.

    Tighten:  Tighten the hinge to body bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb ft).

  3. Install the rear door check link. Refer to Rear Side Door Check Link Replacement .
  4. Engage wiring harness grommet into door and install the rear door wiring harness.
  5. Reconnect all wiring harness connectors inside the door.
  6. Verify the door is aligned properly. If door adjustment is required, refer to Rear Door Adjustment .
  7. Install the rear door insulator. Refer to Rear Side Door Insulator Replacement .
  8. Install the rear door outer panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Outer Panel Replacement .
