Installation Procedure

    IMPORTANT: This step must be performed to assure proper timing of the adjusters.
  1. Adjust the seat adjuster tracks to the fully rearward position.
  2. Position the seat in the vehicle and engage the front adjuster hooks in the floor pan.

  4. Position the seat in the fully forward position to expose the rear bolt locations.
  5. Connect the seat electrical connectors.

    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice .
  7. Install the seat adjuster bolts.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolts to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  8. Install the shoulder belt webbing in the quick disconnect anchor.
  9. Inspect the front seat belt for proper operation.
  10. CAUTION: To avoid personal injuries, re-zero the passenger presence system whenever you remove or replace the seat cushion or trim. Failure to do so may cause the system to malfunction.
  11. Re-zero the inflatable restraint passenger presence system whenever the seat cushion or any component of the passenger presence system is removed. Refer to Passenger Presence System Programming and Setup .
