Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Install the fuel tank shield to the frame.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the fuel tank shield to the frame retaining bolts and nut.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the fuel tank shield to the frame retaining bolts and nut to 25 N.m (18 lb.ft).

  3. Install the frame brace.
  4. Install the frame brace mounting bolts.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the frame brace mounting bolts to 45 N.m (33 lb.ft).

  5. Lower the vehicle.
