Installation Procedure

WARNING: This page is about a different car, the 2003 Oldsmobile Bravada, 2003 GMC Envoy, and 2003 Chevrolet TrailBlazer. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.
  1. Position the assist step to the support brackets.
    NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in Cautions and Notices.
  2. Install the nuts (1) that retain the assist step to the support brackets.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the nuts to 25 N.m (18 lb.ft).

  3. Position the assist step assembly to the vehicle.
  4. Install the bolts that retain the support brackets to the body.

    Tighten 

    Tighten the bolts to 25 N.m (18 lb.ft).
