Installation Procedure

  1. Install the rear planetary ring gear onto the rear planetary ring gear flange on the intermediate shaft, securing with the rear planetary ring gear snap ring.
  2. Install one new seal ring onto the intermediate shaft.
  3. Apply J 36850  to the new intermediate shaft seal ring.
