Removal Procedure

  1. Raise the vehicle. Refer to LIFTING AND JACKING THE VEHICLE in General Information.
  2. Remove the tire and wheel from the vehicle. Refer to TIRE AND WHEEL REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION in Tires and Wheels.
  3. Remove the wheel hub and bearing from the vehicle. Refer to Wheel Hub and Bearing Replacement .
  4. Using the J 43631  (1), remove the wheel stud (2) from the wheel hub.
