Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the parking brake pedal assembly, if replacing the left front sunroof drain hose. Refer to PARK BRAKE PEDAL ASSEMBLY in Park Brake.
  2. Remove the front carpet retainers. Refer to CARPET RETAINER REPLACEMENT - FRONT in Interior Trim.
  3. Pull the front carpet back to gain access to the hole in the front door hinge pillar.
  4. Remove the headliner. Refer to HEADLINER REPLACEMENT in Interior Trim.

    Important:  Note the routing of the sunroof drain hose before removing.

  5. Disconnect the front drain hose from the sunroof module spigot.
  6. Tie a string to the module end of the sunroof drain hose to aid in the installation process.
  7. Remove the front sunroof drain hose grommet from the hole in the front door hinge pillar.
  8. Remove the front sunroof drain hose from the front door hinge pillar. Pull the sunroof drain hose from the front door hinge pillar, allowing the string to remain in the pillar.
  9. Remove the string from the drain hose.
