Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) , GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLDSMOBILE) .
  2. Remove the front fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (CHEVROLET, GMC) or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (OLDSMOBILE) .
  3. Remove the front impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER .
  4. Place the impact bar on a clean, prepared surface.

  6. Remove the bolt that retains the tow hook to the impact bar.
  7. Remove the tow hook from the impact bar.
