Installation Procedure

  1. Install the tow hook to the impact bar, ensuring that the locating pin is properly indexed to the impact bar.
  2. NOTE: Refer to Fastener Notice in CAUTIONS & NOTICES .
  3. Install the bolt which retains the tow hook to the impact bar.

    Tighten:  Tighten the bolt to 50 N.m (37 lb ft).

  4. Install the impact bar. Refer to IMPACT BAR REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER .
  5. Install the fascia. Refer to FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (CHEVROLET, GMC) or FASCIA REPLACEMENT - FRONT BUMPER (OLDSMOBILE .
  6. Install the grille. Refer to GRILLE REPLACEMENT (GMC) , GRILLE REPLACEMENT (CHEVROLET) or GRILLE REPLACEMENT (OLDSMOBILE) .
